Pink peonies? Yes, please!
Sally and Vinny had not one, but TWO gorgeous wedding ceremonies at Nicollet Island Pavilion. There were so many fun colors! For the first ceremony, the couple had an Indian wedding ceremony with bright colors of red, gold, and orange. A tradition in Indian weddings is the Jaimala, which translates to “victory garland.” This is when the couple places floral garlands over each other’s head. This symbolizes the couple’s love and respect for one another. We created the garlands with red and white carnations. After this ceremony, the couple also had an indoor Christian ceremony. The bright mandap was replaced with white draping and pink floral petals decorated the aisle. We made Sally’s pink bouquet entirely out of peonies!
We enjoyed designing the floral for both of Sally and Vinny’s ceremonies and reception! Thanks, Fairlight Studios, for sharing these photos with us!
